Advances in the research titled "COMPARATIVE ANALYSIS OF THE ECONOMIC, FINANCIAL AND ADMINISTRATIVE FACTORS IN THE DEVELOPMENT OF PROGRAMMING OF COMPUTERS IN INTERMEDIATELY DEVELOPED COUNTRIES, AND INTERNATIONAL COMPETITIVE CHALLENGES: CASES OF TURKEY AND COSTA RICA", in other research and consultancy are as follows:
As part of our program, a detailed study of the effects of the CAFTA on the software sector of Costa Rica was elaborated, and published in Scientific Knowledge, followed by the publication of an article in la Prensa Libre.
A book in Turkish titled "Turk Yazilim Sektoru" was published in Turkey (the problems and the solution suggestions of the Turkish software sector).
The implementation of the strategic business plan was verified deriving from the research results for a software SME of Turkey, confirming its effective operation and result. The study included an analysis of the concrete results of the implementation of the strategy, and their potential for its use and practical application by other SMEs in Turkey.
Also, the main researcher published a book in Spanish titled "Software for Development" in the publishing house la Editorial Tecnológica of el Instituto Tecnológico de Costa Rica, on the production and commercialization of software in intermediately developed countries.
The main researcher collaborated with IT companies and organizations in Turkey to elaborate other scientific studies in the production of software, directed to fortify the verification and applicability of the theoretical explanatory model.
In the area of scientific education undertaken by the CIFOCICA, a Seminar of Methodological Strategy of Scientific Research for the formation and development of scientific researchers in diverse fields and disciplines was organized, with the participation of 22 professionals in different fields like administration, penal law, psychology, auditing, fine arts, education, economics and sociology.
As part of the work directed to the development of the use and application of the scientific method in Costa Rica, the President of CIFOCICA published the book "Researching in order to judge" in which he analyzes the methodological, epistemological and technical aspects of the application of the scientific method in the establishment of the truth of the facts in judicial investigation.
Another project of research, promoted by CIFOCICA, was "Influence of the factor of educational level of the mother in the cases of sudden death of infants".
On consultancy and engineering, a scientific social study of the organizational behavior of the Regulating Authority of the Public Services of Costa Rica was undertaken.
