Visit to Turkey in January of the main researcher for the project "the Software Strategy of Turkey" for the Software Industrialists Association of Turkey (YASAD, www.yasad.org.tr). Istanbul Stage: Focus group, interviews with IT companies and NGOs, Ankara Stage: Meetings with government and state members, and the Izmir Stage: Interviews with IT companies.

Publication of "the Software Strategy of Turkey" ("Turkiye Yazilim Stratejisi") by YASAD and the press conference.

Publication of the book "The software sector in the world and in Turkey with its economic and social dimensions" ("Ekonomik ve sosyal boyutlariyla Turkiye´de ve dunyada yazilim sektoru"), in "reference books" series of Iletisim Yayinlari (the prestigious publishing house of the 2006 Nobel Prize winner in literature, Orhan Pamuk)
